What I got for Christmas!!!

You may have seen this earlier, but some how my post was deleted and I had to start over :(

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I sure did! Spoiled my girls of course and my hubby spoiled me as well! He did very well, I gave him some ideas but he pretty much did everything on his own!

First we have my two Michael Kors purses...Large Studded Saffiano Tote and Cynthia Saffiano Satchel. Loove these two purses! Right now I am carrying Cynthia..lots of room and easy to carry. The studded Saffiano is a little bigger and I feel like I am carrying a small suit case around lol! It is big but I love it! Did I mention that I LOVE THEM! hahaha :)

Coach Wallet....I really like the color of this wallet it is black and maroon and the Coach emblem is brown. I have another Coach wallet that is similar but I don't use it because it does not have a change pocket and this one does!

CrockPot recipe book... I love my crockpot! I actually have four of them: two small ones, a medium and a large CrockPot. I have made two recipes so far from the book and loved them. The Keep Calm and Carry on book.. is my husband trying to tell me something?? HAHA...This book is to help with managing worry, anxiety and fear...I admit I do suffer from some anxiety but who doesn't from time to time. I did start reading it and there are definitely some helpful suggestions in there.

ShopVac...yup a shop vac! Over the summer I was complaining to my husband about how we do not have a shop vac! Well now we do.. great for cleaning out your car!

My hubby also gave me perfume, sewing patterns (I love to sew) and a new outfit, which I will show in my upcoming clothing post. I may be missing something...

Drugstore mini Haul

I tried to take a break from buying makeup but you know..that never happens!

I wanted to try the NYC liquid eyeliner (with the brush applicator) that I have heard a lot of YouTubers and Bloggers rave about. I picked up the NYC liquid liner with the brush applicator and the felt tip applicator. Loving the liner with the brush, it goes on smoothly and has a nice rich black color. This eyeliner is great if you make a mistake it is easy to correct. The NYC liner with the felt tip I am not impressed with, it looks almost grey when you apply it. The picture below is not great but the felt tip liner is on the left and the brush tip liner is on the right. See the difference? Has anyone tried these liners and have you experienced this with the felt tip liner?

I have been wanting to try the new Revlon Matte Balms, when I went to Walgreens I ended up buying the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balms. The orange color is called Rendevous and the pink color is Sweetheart. These chubby crayon lip balms are great, they last hours and leave a light stain on your lip after the glossyness leaves... (Glossyness? is that a word..I make things up as I go! ) I will be going back for the Matte Balms, have you tried them?? or the Just Bitten Balms?

I also picked up some nail polish Charmed, I'm sure from Loreal and a sparkly mauve from Julie.

I hope you all have a Happy New Year!!! See you in 2014

Be Thankful!!!!

Since tomorrow is Thanksgiving I want to share a few things I am thankful for.

B
I am thankful to have a gorgeous home to call my own. A place my children will be raised in and hopefully (in a long long time, LOL) grandchildren will be blessed to visit.

C
I am thankful for my four fur babies..they like to keep me warm on these cold winter days :)

D
I am thankful for my health!

E
Last but not least... I am thankful for God <3

Cutting It OFF!

Today at 2:30pm I will be cutting my hair off! YIKES!! Haha I am so nervous but excited at the same time!

As I have mentioned in my Home Remedies post I have done a lot of damage to my hair. At this point I hardly can get a brush through it. I love long hair but it is time for a change in style and to cut the damage off!

Here are some inspirational pics!

Natural Home Remedies

About three years ago I started bleaching my hair because I wanted super blonde hair for my wedding.

Wedding Day

I have always been a natural blonde but through the years my hair has turned into a dark blonde, almost light brown.. :(   Well, after the whole wear and tear on trying to keep it blonde, my hair had turned into.. how should I put it, CRAP! Breakage, feeling like straw just straight up garbage. So, a year ago I decided NO MORE! And I dyed my hair to a light brown and just let it go.  But of course all the hair that was previously bleached faded, I had kind of a rocken ombré effect going on which I kept for a while...a month ago I went back to light brown....

Lots of damage has been done to this head of hair! I use a lot of top of the line products, but not seeing the results I wanted. So I set out to find more natural hair care remedies. Below is my current regime that I follow:

Coconut Oil treatment: Organic unrefined Coconut Oil and Olive Oil.
I do not have an actual "recipe" for this. Basically, once a week I spritz my hair with some rosemary water (recipe below) then scoop out about a half of a hand full of coconut oil in my hand, mix with about a quarter size of olive oil, rub it in my hand for a few seconds then run it through the shaft and ends of my hair. I also, take ONLY Olive Oil and rub it into the roots and massage in. I usually put this on before bed and leave it on over night.. shampoo and condition in the morning. NOTE: I shampoo twice to be sure to get the oils out.
Coconut Oil keeps your hair AND skin soft and healthy!

Olive oil: twice a week I put olive oil only in my roots before I go off to bed. I massage it in, tie my hair up and wash it out in the morning.

Rosemary spritz (helps with split ends): I have a rosemary plant in my kitchen: crush up some fresh rosemary, mix it with warm water-into a spray bottle. Shake it up! There you go DIY leave in conditioner. You can also use dry rosemary from your kitchen. (I use this spritz every time I wash my hair)
Rosemary leaves your hair soft and shiny and also reduces hair loss and stimulates the hair follicles!

These regimes may not work for everyone! But I really like the way my hair turns out after I do these treatments. There are many out there, these are just a few I use. :)

Let me know if you have tried these or have your own nature home hair care remedies.

Urban Decay Naked Palette 3....TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!

NAKED PALETTE 3 Coming soon......

Will you be getting Naked with 3???!!

Urban Decay Naked 3

Yes... I said it, it looks awesome!!! I am probably one of the few that do not own Naked or Naked 2.. CRAAAZY I know, right??? Out of the two I would most likely purchase the 1st one over the 2nd, the two are a lot alike, who knows maybe I will go for all of them. :) BUT 3 has some beautiful rose/pink/peachy colors that are just beautiful! The palette has 12 new shades with a finish of matte, pearl or a shimmery metallic.

Urban Decays Naked Palettes are one of the best selling palettes..and again, I have no idea why I do not own a single one of these....stupid! LOL  I will definitely be purchasing Naked 3 when it comes out. Now, I have not heard when it will be arriving but on the Urban Decay website you can sign up for alerts which I have linked bellow! Will you will be waiting in line on the launch date?? ;)

Check back with me soon and I will have a review and tutorial with this palette, as soon as I get it!!! YAY!

BH Cosmetics

BH Cosmetics Mini Haul

I am currently loving BH Cosmetics, their eye shadows are gorgeous! They are super pigmented and last all day. I would highly recommend putting a base on underneath as well. So far I have only purchased eye shadows, blushes, brushes and eye primer from this company.

My first purchase from BH Cosmetics was a little over a month ago.  I purchased the 60's palette, AMAZZZZING colors, beautiful and vibrant and mixed with shimmer and matte colors. I also purchased the 7 piece brush set (travel size)..  these brushes are pretty good but are definitely travel size..I believe I got a deal on these and thats why I purchased them. (I will post a pic of this palette soon).

Recent purchase last week.. was the 88 Color Palette in Tropical Matte..Great colors..NOTE: they are not all MATTE colors.. :( which I guess is okay I would have liked to see more matte colors but loving the palette anyway....
Here is a picture of the 88 Color Tropical Palette

Photo: Holy eyeshadows! BH Cosmetics 88 COLOR PALETTE Tropical Matte Eyeshadow... note: not all shapes are matte but they are super pigmented.

and I did just a few swatches to show the pigment of the shadows and how pretty they are! I may do a few more...

Photo: A few shadows from the 88 Palette.

BH San Francisco eye shadow and blush palette.. again another great palette, colors are beautiful and have great pigmentation!
16 eyeshadows matte and shimmer, and 4 blushes.. (these are not great pictures.. I took them with my phone)

Lastly, I purchased their eye & lip primer

I have used it a few times so far I like it and you do not need to much. A lot of the reviews on the website said "difficult removal" but I did not experience that. I works pretty good so far. I did not take a picture of the primer by itself but here is everything in their packaging! love the San Francisco packaging!

Photo: My new BH Cosmetics came today! So excited to try them out! #bhcosmetics
